KITZBÜHEL, June 6, 2018

Organizers of the Generali Open in Kitzbühel announced on Wedensday that Frenchman Gael Monfils will compete at this year’s ATP 250 clay-court event, held from 28 July to 4 August 2018.

The former World No. 6 will join local favourite Dominic Thiem, Spanish veteran Fernando Verdasco and compatriot Richard Gasquet. Monfils will make his debut in Tyrol.

“He is one of the fans’ favourites. We are looking forward to welcome him in Kitzbühel,” tournament director Alexander Antonitsch commented.
