The Tallahassee Tennis Challenger has released its initial entry list, with nine Americans headlining the 2016 event. There are ten countries represented in this year’s tournament.
Currently ranked No.85 in the world, USA’s Donald Young is the highest-ranked of the 22 men who received direct acceptance in to the 32-player main draw. Young reached the fourth round of the US Open twice in his career and holds eight ATP Challenger Tour singles titles.
He is joined by eight fellow Americans, including reigning French Open boys’ singles champion Tommy Paul, 2011 French Open boys’ singles champion Bjorn Fratangelo, and three-time ATP Challenger Tour title winner Ryan Harrison.
Also highlighting the field, defending champion Facundo Arguello and 2015 finalist Frances Tiafoe.

Four spots in the main draw have been set aside for wild cards, which will be awarded by the tournament. Thirty-two qualifiers will compete from April 23-25 for four spots in the main draw.
