The world’s top tennis players have arrived in Western Australia, ahead of the United Cup, an exciting mixed team tennis event being played in Perth and Sydney from Friday 29 December to Sunday 7 January 2024.
As part of the event, teams will visit iconic locations in Western Australia, showcasing the Dream State to global audiences, with WA Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism the Hon. Rita Saffioti MLA welcoming Team Australia with a visit to Perth’s iconic island paradise, Rottnest Island before their campaign on the court starts.
Team Australia, spearheaded by fan-favourites including world No.12 Alex de Minaur (NSW) and Ajla Tomljanovic (Qld), John Millman (Qld), Ellen Perez (NSW), and two of WA’s very own; world No.1 doubles star Storm Hunter and world No.4 doubles player Matt Ebden enjoyed a visit to the island which showcased beaches, local food prepared by Isola, and smiling quokkas.

Australia will face Great Britain on Friday 29 December from 5pm AWST before playing defending champions, the United States on Monday 1 January. A full tournament schedule is available here.
