The JC Ferrero Tennis Academy has taken a significant step in its international expansion with the launch of a new project in Shanghai. The academy has already begun operations through partnerships with local clubs while progressing toward the development of a full-scale training center in the city.

The initiative was officially inaugurated during a visit by Juan Carlos Ferrero, whose vision is to establish a comprehensive facility in the coming years. The planned academy will replicate the successful model in Spain, featuring a residence, school, and all necessary services to support both the athletic and personal development of players.

Several academy coaches are already based in China, focusing on player development as well as the education and training of local coaches. The team is expected to grow, further strengthening the academy’s presence and long-term impact in the region.

The project is being carried out in collaboration with ACT Sport Technologies and GuanOu Sports, two experienced organizations committed to advancing tennis not only in Shanghai but across the country.

As part of the expansion strategy, the academy also plans to develop a structured tournament circuit in partnership with local stakeholders, alongside organizing training camps and clinics in multiple cities throughout China.

With this move, the JC Ferrero Tennis Academy reinforces its global positioning and takes a decisive step toward exporting its training philosophy to new markets, contributing to the continued growth of tennis worldwide.
