Top seed Dominic Thiem is the winner of the Generali Austrian Pro Series. The 26-year-old was in fine shape and remained untroubled in Friday’s final. Thiem defeated Austria’s reigning national champion and World No. 343 David Pichler 6-2, 6-0 in about one hour of play.
Thiem, who also won the opening tournament of the Adria Tour in Belgrade, Serbia, will continue his tennis exhibition series journey at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown held at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Sophia Antipolis, France the upcoming weekend.
