The 38th edition of the Mercedes Cup concluded on Monday with Dominic Thiem, winning the final over Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-7, 6-4, 6-4. The Austrian youngster captured his seventh ATP career title, his first on grass court. The tournament’s main attraction, however, was the first appearance of Roger Federer at the Tennis Club Weissenhof.
